 DoD watchdog to examine Trump’s U.S. Area Command relocation

The Department of Defense’s inspector general announced Friday it will review the Trump administration’s decision to relocate U.S. Area Command from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Huntsville, Alabama.

In between the lines: At a campaign rally in Colorado Springs in 2020, Trump signified the command would remain at Peterson Air Force Base, AP reports, who lost his 2020 reelection bid, and Colorado, unlike Alabama, voted against Trump in November.
