In the end, after counting ballots for days, after most likely recounts and court fights, after outright and insane allegations and claims, Joe Biden will most likely, hopefully, end up being president of the United States.

He will have won the popular vote, something Donald Trump didn’t carry out in 2016 although he won the presidency. More people will have voted for Biden than for any other president in U.S. history. Some previously Republican states have turned Democratic.

Simply put, the majority of Americans will have rejected Trump. He will be the uncommon incumbent president not re-elected to a 2nd term.

Voters were able to vote easily. Their votes are being counted. There was little violence, though some sellers were prepared, boarding up their stores. The democracy developed more than 200 years ago with an iconic file composed of some of the most stylish language in the English-speaking world, held up, despite months of threats, as dual citizen and Windsor legal representative Daniel Ableser kept in mind.
