Jan. 20 (UPI)– Former President Donald Trump had no influence on high-profile defense contracts, Ellen Lord, outbound Pentagon undersecretary of defense acquisition, said.

In a teleconference on Tuesday, Lord said that regardless of Trump’s public statements crucial of high costs and expense overruns, especially including the F-35 fighter aircraft, “the President had a lot of interest on a few programs.”.

” I do not believe he influenced the programmatics. What he was interested in was the governmental airplane[a customized Boeing 747] I remained in the Oval [Office] for a meeting on that. He, honestly, was focused on performance and the bathroom
