Trump Lashes Out at Supreme Court Income Tax Return Call Like a Guy Who Understands Jail Is in His Future

Every U.S. president since Jimmy Carter has launched their income tax return with the exception, obviously, of Donald Trump. After lying about being unable to share them due to a “regular audit” and declaring that he would do so simply as quickly as he got the thumbs-up, Trump continued to spend the next four-plus years doing whatever in his power to make sure such information never ever saw the light of day– almost as though he had something to conceal! So you can imagine his response when the Supreme Court selected Monday to reject his last-ditch attempt to shield his returns, which certainly sounds like that of a person who’s dedicated all manner of tax fraud and is worried about the possibility of spending an excellent chunk of his golden years in prison.

In a statement on “The Continuing Political Persecution of President Donald J. Trump,” Trump rants that he is the victim of “the best political Witch Hunt in the history of our Nation.” Describing the case the court ruled on, which concerns a subpoena of Trump’s accountants by Manhattan district attorney Cyrus Vance, who has opened a criminal investigation into the ex-president, Trump says, “This is something which has never ever taken place to a President in the past,” naturally failing to discuss the fact that, among previous POTUSes, just Trump has a reputation as a well-known bilker. He incomprehensibly continues:

[This] is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat area, New York City and State, totally controlled and dominated by a heavily reported opponent of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo. These are attacks by Democrats willing to do anything to stop the almost 75 million individuals (the most votes, without a doubt, ever gotten by a sitting president) who voted for me in the election– an election which many people, and specialists, feel that I won. I agree!

The new phenomenon of “headhunting” prosecutors and AGs– who attempt to take down their political opponents using the law as a weapon– is a risk to the very structure of our liberty. That’s what is carried out in developing nation. Even even worse are those who run for prosecutorial or attorney general of the United States offices in far-left states and jurisdictions promising to secure a political opponent. That’s fascism, not justice– which is precisely what they are attempting to do with respect to me, except that the people of our Nation won’t stand for it. In the meantime, murders and violent crime are up in New York City by record numbers, and absolutely nothing is done about it. Our chosen officials don’t care. All they concentrate on is the persecution of President Donald J. Trump. I will combat on, just as I have, for the last five years (even prior to I was effectively elected), despite all of the election criminal offenses that were dedicated against me. We will win!

So, just to reiterate, Trump– a person who prompted a violent riot in the hopes of reversing the election– thinks that crimes have actually been devoted versus him, and, despite the fact that he literally attempted to utilize the Justice Department to investigate enemies, that he is the victim of political “persecution.”

While the scope of Vance’s investigation isn’t known, it supposedly at first occurred from an inquiry into hush cash payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal and now includes possible crimes like insurance coverage and tax scams Last week, the D.A.’s workplace spoke with Trump’s previous fixer, Mich
