Former US President Donald Trump will give a speech next week during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida.
According to several US media, Trump will speak on the 28th about the future of the Republican Party, the conservative movement and “President Biden’s disastrous amnesty and border policies.”
Trump has been a regular at CPAC since he made his first appearance there in 2011, years before becoming a presidential candidate. During his tenure in the White House, the conference included appearances by Trump himself, former Vice President Mike Pence and other top advisers.
Since leaving office, the former president has given several television interviews and issued public statements, but has yet to speak before an audience. It will be his first major speech since the Senate impeachment trial, which questioned his role in the Jan. 6 riots on Capitol Hill, but ultimately exonerated him thanks to Republican votes.
