United States election 2020: Kristen Welker was ‘clear winner’ on social media

If social media is to be believed, there was just one winner of the last presidential dispute – the individual in charge.
There have been more than 125,000 tweets about the NBC journalist, who ended up being only the second black woman to moderate a governmental debate alone, 28 years after ABC News reporter Carole Simpson became the very first in 1992.
Welker would have still been at school when Simpson moderated that dispute between Expense Clinton and George HW Bush.
Fox News journalist Chris Wallace dealt with criticism for his moderation of the last argument in between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, while Susan Page was similarly criticised for how she dealt with the vice-presidential debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris.
